An extensive extended cruise circling the Australian Coast was terminated in the wake of the fatal incident of an elderly lady who was stranded by the ship on a remote island.

The elderly woman had been trekking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the Coral Adventurer, but separated from the excursion for a break. The liner departed without her and went back several hours later after the crew realised the passenger was unaccounted for.
